Congratulations on reaching the end of the FAQs! That wasn't so bad, now was it?
Ah, posting. The life source of a forum. By now, you should've seen that there are rules regarding posting on this forum, and here we'll cover them a little more.
Q: Why is there a minimum length for in-character posts? A: Because we'd like to see quality role playing; it's hard to pull of quality story lines with only one or two lines of text for each post.
Q: Seven hundred character / a paragraph per character!? Why? A: Because anything less is cheating to get around the minimum. This way, we prevent people from making five characters so they can post one or two sentences per character and then say that they've met the paragraph requirement.
Q: What is Karma? A: Karma is basically just a popularity thing. If you do something another member likes you, they'll exalt you. If you do something they don't like, they'll smite you, in turn, can do the same thing to them. You can only exalt/smite one person every hour. It's no big deal, and is nothing to worry about. That said, the Core Staff will often give out Karma as rewards for contests.
Q: Who smited / exalted me? A: That's a secret. I am the only one with access to that information, and I will not reveal it.
