You have just entered the Old Hag Forest, a forest much older than Sprite Forest, it’s opposite. You find yourself on a well worn trail that has been packed down by many feet over the years. You could feel the air growing cooler the further you walk along the path, the branches of the trees overlap more thickly. Only green light is filtered though the leaves, if take the time to look around you could notice some holes in the green roof of the forest. Shafts of pure sunshine could be seen, looking eerie and unreal at times. When the wind comes from the right direction you could smell the water from the lake, your destination at the end of this path is the lake. Many people use this main footpath, because it is the safest way to travel. It is not uncommon to pass people on your way along the path or for someone to join you from one of the hunting trails.
