Near the center of town is a tavern. Many of the towns older folk come to drink on the weekends, after work, or whenever they feel like it. Also, there are rooms available here for any out-of-town people who have come to visit Aurora Valley. That means people from Laknos, of course, as people from Deproelior are not welcome.
OOC: There is a Night Bartender, my character, Mikalis, so do not NPC the night Bartender.

Mikalis was a little bored. He was cleaning down the bar, because at the moment, he had nothing else to do. It had been a rather slow night. He’d a few bursts, but nothing steady that kept him busy. Being busy was what made you the tips, not little bursts. He wasn’t in a hurry for the night to be over, though. He was going to go and see his parents after work, and tell about Akeran. He truly cared for the solider, and knew that he felt the same way. The brunet wasn’t sure that his parents would understand. Akeran’s did, which was great, but… it wasn’t his family. What would they say? Giving a sigh, he scrubbed the bar some more, knowing that the action would not take his mind off what was going on in his life right now. On the surface, everything should be wonderful.
Mika and Akeran were happy. Sure, neither of them had said the word “love” yet, but their caring for each other and their feelings were mutually understood. Things were going very well between them, and they were moving into an apartment together. He was going to be with an attractive man who found him attractive and cared deeply for him. Everything was great on that end. What would his parents think though? If they had harsh words to say, Mika would be devastated. His cousin, Xialus, was more than supportive. After all, the two had been best friends for a long time. She didn’t care who he slept with, because it didn’t change who he was. That wouldn’t be how his parents saw it, because he was the only guy born in the Valeris family. Being gay meant no kids, and that the name would die with him.
Mika sighed as a couple of guys walked in, and asked for ale. Nodding, he delivered, and slid the two ales down to their new owners. “That will five bronze pieces a piece,” he said. One muttered to put both on his tap. The bartender smirked. “Are you actually going to pay this time, Jonalo? You owe me at least twenty silver pieces from your ‘tab’. I’m generous, but not that generous.” The man named Jonalo looked over at him, and muttered about paying. “You better, or next time you come in, I’m cutting you off. I’m a nice guy, but I’m here to make money for Lino, and you’re not making him any money.” The older man waved off the young bartender. The smirk still played on Mika’s face as he went back to cleaning bar. Life was boring sometimes, and part of him wondered if Akeran would come in tonight.
