The Mud River...found west of the Plains, and runs right through the city. It flows into the Lake of Tears and is the main source of water for the citizens of Deproelior. Low trees and full bushes grow along it's shoreline. It boasts some of the best fishing in Arcanus, though it's mostly carp getting reeled in.
For all it's beauty and usefullness, Mud River can be dangerous to the unwary. People not heeding warnings to not swim when the rivers waters are too high and rough have drowned. Snake bites also are a risk, though none have been poisonous. In the rainy season, Mud River has been known to swell high enough to flood the parts of the city that lay near it, but no harm has truly been done..
