If you're brave enough, tough enough, and have enough endurance, then try to brave the Desert With No Name if you dare. Very hot during the day, almost unbarely so during midday, it's not for the feint of heart. Many people have perished trying to cross the Desert unprepared, but if you want to, you are free to do so.
There is a road - a path more like it - that leads from Deproelior to the Ruins, and likewise, from the Ruins to Aurora Valley. There is another road that travels north towards Laknos, which ends in the Hills of Desperation. The roads are not clear in all areas, so one must be careful when travelling on them. There is also a road that leads south from the ruins, but it stops after about a day or two's travel. No one knows who made it or why they stopped. The South Road is very worn, though.
